Mixfont can classify fonts from screenshots, templates, PDFs, and assets so teams can quickly identify and replicate designs without a need for the underlying font file. Our initial model, Lens, shows a 91% font recognition rate on internal images taken from a diverse set of sources.

Using Lens, you can take the text from an image and find the nearest open-source font that can be used for a project. This functionality is available in the Mixfont workspace as well as the developer API.
Forge is an unreleased model as of March 2026. This font generation model allows you to take the text from an image and create a full matching TTF file. This model will be available through the platform and API in the coming months. Please contact us if you are interested in testing this model out.
