Mixfont License
Fonts created on Mixfont are generated by AI. Each generated font is completely unique and novel, even when using the same prompt. Licensing fonts created on Mixfont is simple and straightforward. We have four license tiers that map to the plan tiers available on our platform.
Personal License
This license is issued to free users on Mixfont. If you generate a font as a free, non-paying user on Mixfont, you may download your generated font and use it freely for personal use. For non-commercial personal use only. You may install the font and use it in personal projects, school projects, and non-monetized portfolio work. You may not use it for client work, business use, advertising, monetized content, products for sale, or redistribute the font files.
Commercial License
This license is issued to all paying users, regardless of plan, on Mixfont. The license covers commercial design use. You may install the font and use it to create finished commercial works, including logos, branding, packaging, advertising, merchandise, printed goods, and static digital graphics. You may sell finished works made with the font. You may not sell, share, sublicense, embed, or redistribute the font files themselves, and you may not include the font in apps, software, website themes, templates, or SaaS products without an Extended License.
Extended License
This license is issued to Max and Enterprise users. It covers commercial use plus embedding as part of a larger product. You may include or embed the font files in approved products such as websites, apps, games, e-books, templates, or software, subject to the limits stated at purchase. You may not sell the font by itself, offer it as a standalone download, upload it to font-sharing sites, claim ownership of the font, or allow third parties to extract, reuse, or sublicense the font outside the approved product.
Redistribution License
This license is issued to Enterprise users. With this license you are free to do anything you'd like with the generated fonts. It covers commercial use plus embedding or redistribution as part of a larger product. You may include or embed the font files in approved products such as websites, apps, games, e-books, templates, or software, subject to the limits stated at purchase. You can sell the font by itself, offer it as a standalone download, upload it to font-sharing sites, claim ownership of the font, or allow third parties to extract, reuse, or sublicense the font outside the approved product. This license is our most permissive license on Mixfont.
